REP: what do you prefer

what do you Prefer?
thanks for opening a very good topic for discussion, actually it depends upon the situation of the country where you are from ? the people in developed countries they prefer to you study in their home country, because they have many top ranking universities, but for me as an Afghanistani, i prefer to study abroad as you know that education system in Afghanistan is not good and as well as Higher Ministry has llimited capacity.

Well Fazel Qadir

Yeah I know the problems and it is great to hear from you. I am very well aware of all these problems and I feel sorry for what is going on as I am from Afghanistan as well.

What do I prefer?
Even if we are studying in a good University here in Afghanistan still we would be stuck in only one area, where in abroad you are getting education and learn something new after every one hour.

What do I prefer?
I prefer abroad, unfortunately I do not think that this is a very realistic option for many people because of the cost of education. I think that to really understand the world you need to live in it.

I would have preferred studying part of my education at home and part of it abroad. But it is an expensive affair to study away from one's home country.

Well
Thank you all for your nice comments. I myself has alwayse been away from home, family and dear one because of my studies, and I am agreed with Asmasiddiq. It really is an expensive affair to study away from you home. But sometimes you have to do so inorder to help others who want to stay home and study there and to provide them the possibility of another option which is of studying in your home country.

Well friends
I am agree with all of you but the point and what really I wanted to know was from those people who have good universities and a high level education. Would they still go abroad to spend their study life?

I think for those people who have good universities in thier own countries, still they should study either Bachelor or Master degree out of their home land, and they should select international and multi cultural universities for their high education, beside their studies they will understand the habbit and culture of other nationalities, that help alot when you work in a mutinational company, me my self i have very good experience of studying in international university, there were students from 60 countries, now easily i can deal with them
